Happy Friday! Hope you all have some fun plans for the long weekend. If you’re looking to do some shopping, there are some really great sales happening this weekend for Memorial Day and I wanted to share some of them with you. As I mentioned in yesterday’s blog post, one of the best sales going on (in my opinion) is Nordstrom’s Half Yearly Sale. This is one of their biggest sales and it’s really good this year. I rounded up some of my favorite pieces that are on sale in the widget below.
Housewarming Party
As you may have already seen on Instagram, Josh and I hosted our first housewarming party this past weekend! I had so much fun planning and brainstorming ideas. I love our little house so much and I wanted to make our party extra special for our friends to enjoy!
A lot of these ideas were inspired from Pinterest… like the donut tower! And, then I knew I wanted to serve Sangria so I found inspiration from Mimosa bars that I had seen all over Pinterest. I’m so happy because I think everything turned out even better than I had imagined in my head! It took a lot of time to set up, but it was so worth it! (Shout out to the best boyfriend EVER for running a million errands that day while I set everything up. 🙂 )
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this post! I listed many of the sources down below. And, if I missed anything, feel free to ask in the comments section!

Easter Sunday Dress
Dress: ASOS | Shoes: Tory Burch: old (similar here) | Watch: Michele
If you follow me on Instagram, then you probably already saw this dress because I wore it for Easter this past weekend. I was so happy because it almost didn’t arrive in time, but luckily it got delivered the night before and it fit perfectly! I love the black tie on the front of the dress because it makes it a little more unique. It was the perfect Easter Sunday dress! ASOS has so many adorable dresses for Spring right now, so I linked a few more in the widget below.
Happy shopping and thanks for stopping by!
Floral Knot Top
Knot top: VICI (similar here) | Jeans: SP Black | Shoes: Hinge | Bag: Celine | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Watch: Michele | Bracelets: David Yurman (here and here)
I’m always drawn to florals in the Spring… and pretty much every other season for that matter! And it always reminds me of the line from Devil Wears Prada when Miranda says, “Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking.” lol! But, in all seriousness florals are so feminine and a great Spring staple. I love this knot top from VICI because it is so comfy and the knot in the front really makes it unique. You’ve probably seen me wear clothes from VICI on the blog before because I love their pieces! They’re so unique and affordable, and if you’re subscribed to their emails they offer frequent discounts. I also follow them on Instagram (@vicidolls) and they are constantly posting cute, new clothes. It can be a little dangerous sometimes—just a warning!
Also, I wanted to quickly remind you all that today is the last day of the big Shopbop sale. You can get between 20-25% off full-price items that hardly ever go on sale using the code Event17! I already ordered these shorts, this top and these shoes.
Anyways, I hope you all have some fun plans for Easter weekend! We will be heading up north to Payson to have a little celebration with Easter baskets at my grandparent’s house. You’re never too old for Easter baskets, right?! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
White on white
Top: Anthropologie | Jeans: old (similar here and here) | Shoes: Marc Fisher | Bag: Celine (similar here) | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Watch: Michele | Bracelets: David Yurman and Hermes
Hi everyone! I was going to get this post up earlier this week but Josh and I both got the stomach flu… ugh! It’s been a rough past few days but I wanted to share this look from last weekend. I picked up this top from Anthropologie during their sale they had a couple weeks ago for their members. Cold shoulder tops have become more and more popular this Spring and I just love the lace detailing on this top. I wanted to pair it with white jeans for a more “Springy” look. White on white isn’t typically a popular combo, but I personally love it! I think it looks clean and you have the freedom to dress it up with fun, colorful accessories.
Have a great weekend!
