I finally got around to getting a post up about our trip to Hawaii! We had the best time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful islands of Maui and Oahu. We started our trip in Maui, where we stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you are ever in Maui— it is probably my favorite place to stay in the world!
Did I mention the Fairmont has a really cool slide?! 🙂
They also make a mean daiquiri in these adorable pineapples.
Missing those Hawaiian sunsets already. Pictures just don’t do it justice!
We also had a chance to do the Road to Hana. And, on my birthday to make it that much more fun! So, we called it the “Road to Hannah” all day. 🙂
Of course we had to rent a Jeep when we were in Hawaii, and it was perfect for the windy roads to Hana. If you ever do the Road to Hana, make sure you clear your whole day. There are so many amazing stops along the way— I wish we could have done them all! We also used this app during the day and it was a life saver. It was like having your own personal tour guide with you. Also, my recommendation for the Road to Hana would be to break it up over two days and stay the night at the resort in the town of Hana. I stayed there when I was really little so I don’t remember much, but it’s suppose to be amazing!
There are so many pretty beaches throughout the drive!
And, of course, yummy food stops.
A beautiful black sand beach.
And, for the second part of our trip, we spent time on the island of Oahu.
We stayed at the Halekulani at Waikiki Beach. The views from our room definitely didn’t suck.
The cutest cafe in Honolulu called ARVO.
I’m still dreaming about their Nutella toast. (insert heart eyes emoji!)
