As you probably already know, Josh and I spent the weekend in one of our very favorite cities – San Francisco! We had so much fun exploring, seeing friends and just spending time together.
We stayed at The Palace hotel, which is one of our favorite hotels ever. It is located in the Financial District near Union Square, so you are really close to everything. The Palace also reminds me a lot of The Plaza hotel in New York because of the decor and history. I forgot to snap some pics of the hotel, but you should google their dining hall – it’s gorgeous!
The first restaurant we stopped to eat at was Leo’s Oyster Bar. This place was at the top of my list… and I think you can see why! The decor is amazing and totally #instaworthy. Thankfully Josh didn’t mind the girly decor because he got to enjoy a lobster roll and some oysters!
We also had a chance to stop by the Farmer’s Market at the Ferry Building. We met up with one of my good friend’s from high school and just explored and walked around. And, I of course had to snap a pic of these gorgeous flowers!
Another restaurant we ate at was Wayfare Tavern. This is a really popular spot in SF, and it was super close to our hotel. They are famous for their fried chicken, so naturally Josh and I had to try it out! Also, the rolls they serve you before your food are ah-mazing. In San Francisco you do a ton of walking, so we didn’t feel too guilty about indulging a little. 🙂
The only picture Josh and I got from the trip (sad face!) This was on the pier next to the Ferry Building.
Another area of San Francisco that I really love is The Marina. I think I told Josh I wanted to move to this neighborhood 10 times on our trip lol. The Marina is such a cute and trendy area right near the Golden Gate Bridge. The Marina is definitely a little calmer than other parts of San Francisco, which I loved! And, there were so many cute colorful townhomes that I totally want to move into. I can’t wait to take another trip back and spend some more time in this area. There are so many fun shops and restaurants we want to try out!
Below are a few other places we went to that I recommend.
buy Lyrica europe Bob’s Donuts – Hands down BEST donuts I have ever had! Whenever Josh and I come to San Francisco, we have to make a stop at Bob’s. But do expect a bit of wait when you go!
source A16 – A great pizza and wine bar in the Marina. We ate here with a couple of friends Saturday night. The pizza is great and they give you scissors to cut it!
how can i buy provigil online Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters – This is where the picture in front of the pineapple wall is. Along with the adorable decor, this is a really great coffee shop in The Marina!
The Stinking Rose – This restaurant is kind of a hole in the wall but it was so good! If you love garlic, you will love this place. All the dishes are made with garlic – even the walls are decorated with garlic! I wouldn’t recommend this for a first date spot though. 😉
The Spotted Pig – We came here for drinks before dinner. Order the Strawberry Fields – it is SO good! We also came here later in the night with friends because they have a really great outdoor area. I wish we would have had a chance to eat here because the food looked really delicious too.
Kirby Cove – This is where the picture on the swing was taken! Warning: You do have to hike about a mile down to the beach to get there. We had no idea and thought we could just Uber right up to it. Oops!
Mr. Holmes Bakehouse – This was one of the places I really wanted to stop at, but we just ran out of time. I heard the cruffins are to die for!
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!
